Our drivers are an integral part of our organisation hence great importance is placed upon their training. We currently have long term drivers who have been employed by Bakers back in the landscaping days over 15 years ago
All Bakers heavy vehicle drivers, be it permanent or full time are inducted through our internal Company Policy and Procedures Program, which includes.
All drivers are assessed prior to being offered an opportunity to work at Bakers.
Following the initial assessment our COR Manager maps out and discusses any ongoing training with the driver and our drivers Supervisor. Continued training is supported by our Management Team.

As with all parts of the Baker Group’s operations our management systems have refined the way we do things this included the engagement of the Groups Construction Manager, Malcolm Small.
Malcolm works closely with our project teams supporting operations and resource management providing his in-depth expertise in urban and industrial land development with the combination of site remediation best practice
Together, as a group Bakers we have keen problem-solving skills, construction and technical knowledge and his communication skills that enables Bakers to work quickly and efficiently through site issues.
Baker Group has a current Enterprise Agreement in place. We have undergone regular updates in negotiation with our company Employers endeavoring to maintain code compliant and be able to offer best value for money to our clients.
Baker Group has taken all the necessary steps to establish management systems, business structures and operational facilities, including a standalone workshop which is a Fully Accredited RMS Heavy Vehicle Safety Check Station equipped with brake roller tester and shaker allowing our mechanics to perform detailed compliance road worthiness inspections.
Baker Groups workshop manager, Luke Baker started with the organisation in 2010 after completing his trade as a high-performance motor mechanic he forms a strong link as to how the workshop and transport entities function
